Milan, on Luka Modric’s day another market coup is ready

After the long goodbye to Real Madrid and the post-World Cup club vacation, Luka Modric is ready to present himself on Monday in front of fans and insiders: his new club, AC Milan, has scheduled the official presentation at the club headquarters at 5 p.m., while at 6:30 p.m. the Croatian will move to the official store in Via Dante, in the center of Milan, to meet fans.

But the beginning of the week will not be dedicated, in the Rossoneri household, only to the Croatian footballer, who had already signed the agreement with the club since mid-July: as reported by ‘Sky Sport‘, in fact, the Rossoneri would be in pole position to secure the performance of Zachary Athekame, a left flanker currently at Young Boys Bern.

For the 20-year-old, who was born in Denmark but grew up in Switzerland, Bologna and Torino had also asked for information in recent weeks, but AC Milan would be ready to immediately offer the 10 million euros requested by the yellow and black club, in order to close in this way the roster at the level of outfielders with a defensive role also on the right, given that on the left the arrival of Estupiñan has completed the department.

Athekame grew up in the youth sectors of Servette and Meyrin, but made his debut among the seniors in Neuchatel Xamax, first in the second team, in the fourth league), and then in the one entered in the Challenge League, the second division, in the 2022-2023 season.
