After skipping the Canadian Open in Toronto, Novak Djokovic has decided to also skip the Masters 1000 on cement in Cincinnati, a real prologue to the US Open, the last Slam tournament of the year.

Djokovic has not played since the Wimbledon semifinal in which the Serbian former world No. 1 was dominated by Jannik Sinner, the current king of tennis, who on the Ohio courts is the defending champion.

Nole has won three times in Cincinnati, in 2018, 2020 and 2023, the same year in which he triumphed for the fourth time at the New York Slam, his last success in a Major, the 24th of his career.
