Atalanta-Monza, the probable formations of the friendly match

Another pre-season test for Ivan Juric’s Atalanta, which hosts Monza at the Bortolotti Sports Center in Zingonia on Wednesday, Aug. 6, at 5 p.m. A friendly that marks the last leg of the summer preparation before the league opener against Pisa, scheduled for Aug. 24.
For the Nerazzurri, this is the third outing of the season: after the success in the family test with the Under 23 (decisive De Ketelaere) and the comeback victory against Leipzig (goals by Scamacca and Bernasconi), Juric continues the work of consolidating his 3-4-2-1. In particular, the coach intends to give important minutes to key pawns such as Scalvini and Scamacca, honing their condition and tactical understanding.
Paolo Bianco’s Monza arrives in Zingonia with an impeccable record: four wins out of four in the summer friendlies played so far, all against Lombardy opponents (Colline d’Oro, Giana Erminio, Alcione Milano and AlbinoLeffe). For the Brianzoli, then, this is the first real test against a Serie A team.
Probable lineups:
Atalanta (3-4-2-1): Sportiello; Godfrey, Djimsiti, Ahanor; Palestra, Sulemana, Brescianini, Bernasconi; Samardzic, Maldini; Scamacca.
Coach: Ivan Juric
Monza (4-2-3-1): Pizzignacco; Lucchesi, Izzo, Domanico, Capolupo; Obiang, Colombo; Ciurria, Colpani, Ganvoula; Caprari.
Coach: Paolo Bianco
