Kevin De Bruyne gave a long interview to Corriere dello Sport: “There are eleven months ahead and it is not the case to dream about what maybe will come in the future. You can win if you work hard. I want to win everything, of course, but I know it is very difficult and I know that you just have to work without ever stopping. As individuals and as a team. Push as hard as you can and in the end we will see what the result”.

“If I had to choose, I would say the Scudetto, but I never ask myself what to choose: I will take whatever I can win– explained the new Napoli midfielder.”

Having never played in Italy, though, the championship would be a nice’goal. It would be very cool. But it hasn”t started yet, so we”ll see.

On the choice to come to Naples: “Naples is a challenge, a choice of life and a stage to win again. Honestly there were other options as well, but after talking with my wife and children I thought to myself that this was the best one. I weighed all the factors, work and life, career and future. By the way, this is the team that won the championship, an incredible team, and having played them in the Champions League I know how it feels: I know the fans, their passion and their support. So Napoli gave me the best feeling”.

He closed on his new coach Antonio Conte and the differences with Pep Guardiola: “They are two different ways of playing. Pep is a little bit’more focused on ball control and possession, while Conte is a little bit’more structured in the game and focuses a lot on mentality. Pep works on the zone. There are a couple of different things, but each coach has his own principles and characteristics”.
