Ademola Lookman: Atalanta and Inter Milan are silent, meanwhile Arsenal is on the move

Inter Milan soccer market: Ademola Lookman remains a difficult knot to untangle, as much for the Nerazzurri meneghini as for those in Bergamo. The Anglo-Nigerian striker is de facto missing from the Atalanta training camp, awaiting a transfer that remains all to be defined. The managements of both Lombard clubs are defining strategies to be adopted, but in the meantime a possible new solution for his future is popping up.
Front Atalanta, while maintaining a granitic stance of not lowering its demand from the now widely known 50 million euros that Inter’s doesn’t seem willing to reach, the feeling is that they want to go for the reluctant footballer. Thursday’s big news lies in the club’s’intention not to fine Lookman, despite the fact that the latter is de facto missing not even giving any clues as to his whereabouts at the moment.
L’Inter is undoubtedly bothered by the situation, but does not yet seem intent on giving up on Lookman. The player’s willingness to move to Milan has been known for weeks and the Biscione wants to close the deal. Aware of the fuss that has in the meantime broken out in Bergamo, the Meneghina management, however, wants to come back and sink the blow only when the situation has at least partially calmed down.
The Biscione wants to close the deal.
In the meantime, however, something is moving, but elsewhere. Also in view of what Luca Percassi said (i.e., that the promise to Lookman includes a transfer in this summer, but to a foreign destination), foreign sirens have been activated. Particularly from the Premier League, where Arsenal could insert itself into the deal, try to convince Lookman to return to his home state and thus bring about the atrocious hoax that Inter are trying in every way to avoid.
However, discussions also continue about Lookman’s attitude toward Atalanta, pending whether his transfer to Inter or elsewhere will materialize. “He made a mistake, but if a year ago he was promised a transfer to a more important club I think it is fair to accommodate him. Even if only from an economic point of view, since he will earn more. I am not saying it is right, however, it is necessary to reach a point of agreement’agreement”, said on the issue agent Vincenzo Pisacane speaking to ‘Sky Sport‘.
