They never stop. And it’s no coincidence that since 2013 the Monza Power Run has been successful and brings a huge number of people (this year there were 1,600) to have fun on the streets of Villasanta, Monza Park and the Autodromo but above all to face new and ever more nice obstacles.

Appreciated, in 2025, the inflatable that served as the finish line and which, of course, must be preserved with the utmost care. And so, heedless of a sun that started beating down very early, a large group of volunteers Saturday morning stowed it away in more than one large container: painstaking work, carried out with the utmost coordination, to hibernate what has been nicknamed ‘The Wonder Slide.

“It was a winning choice to invest in such a big object, which everyone liked and which avoided any structural problems – explained Tana, the MPR village chief, also known by some as Stefano Fontana -. Of course, we are already thinking about the next edition: we have made thirteen (the years of the race, which was not held only in 2020 and 2021 because of the dramatic pandemic, ed.)… we will make fourteen and even much more”.

Unique in its kind, the Monza Power Run – which each year fields more than 200 volunteers – has the great merit of solidarity: all proceeds are always invested in the fight against leukemia, in concert between the Lele Forever association of Villasanta, which is named after Gabriele Brandazzi and which organizes the event, and the San Gerardo hospital in Monza.
