Champions League Preliminaries 2025-2026: Fenerbahçe-Feyenoord, likely lineups

The UEFA Champions League will officially kick off on September 16 with the first group stage challenges. In the meantime, however, there are already those who are fighting hard to earn a place in Europe’s most prestigious competition. Indeed, we have reached the third qualifying round, after which only the playoffs will remain to separate teams from the Champions dream.
Fenerbahçe and Feyenoord are also among the teams still in the running, ready to play the second act of their confrontation on Tuesday, August 12, at 7 p.m.
In the first leg match, it was the Dutch who came out on top, putting a minimal but valuable lead in the bag. Robin Van Persie’s team came out on top 2-1 thanks to Hadj Moussa’s goal in the final, which came after the momentary equalizer signed by Amrabat, who had answered former Sassuolo player Muldur’s own goal. It was a match full of twists and turns, but one that has yet to write the decisive chapter. In Istanbul, Jose Mourinho’s boys will try to take advantage of the field factor to turn the situation around and continue their run.
