The work is not over yet: Torino continues to think about how to reinforce the squad available to Marco Baroni just days before the season kicks off next Monday against Modena in the Coppa Italia. The granata are looking for another offensive player, and are hoping for the return of Elmas, now at Leipzig. However, the Macedonian is also in the sights of Napoli, and the price made by the German club remains high.

Torino executives are thus evaluating an’alternative in case the deal falls through, and among the names on the list is Stefan Mitrovic of Verona, previously coached by Baroni. Tuttomercatoweb reports.

Toro reportedly carried out a survey for the 2002-born offensive outfielder: Hellas values him at around 3 million euros. Also on his trail is Mallorca.

Mitrovic played last season on loan at Leuven, Belgium, and has 8 total appearances for the Serbian senior national team.
