Ardon Jashari, Milan’s new midfielder, introduced himself at a press conference: “The feelings are incredible, Milan is a dream come true for me and also for my family. I arrived recently but everyone has welcomed me very well. For me it is an honor to wear the Rossoneri jersey, a pride. Milan’s history speaks for itself, so many champions have passed through here. Pirlo was my idol. As a child I watched and admired Milan and Barcelona, I have been to the San Siro and can’t wait to play there”.

On the negotiations that brought him to Milan: “It was quite a long time, from the first contacts with Tare my will was clear and he always supported me. I knew it would be a difficult negotiation, I was an important player for Club Brugge. Patience was needed, I had given my word to the Rossoneri club. I also thank Ibrahimović. Last season in Belgium was important, I just focused on finishing the best I could, then my attorney started talking to me about the possibility of Milan. Comparison with De Ketelaere? No, the only point in common is the fact that I played at Club Brugge. At AC Milan the pressure is normal and it doesn&#8217t scare me, I will work my hardest and give everything to repay the club”s trust and make the fans happy.

The Swiss already has clear ideas: “With staff and teammates the’impact has been very positive. Allegri immediately seemed to me a coach close to the players, I thank him for the nice words about me after Dublin. You can sense a great harmony in the locker room, I was impressed. Then there&#8217s the field, and on the field we want to win because Milan deserves it. I want to contribute and transmit my fire to the team. Often the team that wants it the most wins. In Dublin I felt free to play, I had been stationary for so long but I wanted to make a good impression. I have a lot of room for improvement. Role? Allegri will decide, in my career by characteristics I have played both 6 and 10, I can contribute both defensively and offensively. The most important thing is not to take goals, but of course I also like to make assists and score”.

On the differences between Serie A and the Jupiler Pro League: “It is a very different league from the Belgian one, which is growing anyway. In Italy we play more physical soccer, I am very happy to be in Serie A as a Milan player”.

The’former Club Brugge will share the midfield with a legend like Luka Modric: “It will be a privilege to have a player like Luka by my side, I will enjoy it and it will certainly allow me to grow”.

“Inter interested in me? I only wanted Milan. I know how important the Derby is for the fans, but the most important thing is to bring Milan back to the top” concluded Jashari.
