His name has long been on the notebook of several clubs and, with the soccer market still far from its conclusion, it is not certain that there may not be developments in that direction, but Federico Chiesa, with his first Premier League goal, among others decisive in the 3-2 win against Bournemouth, wanted to give a clear message to his suitors.

The former Fiorentina and Juventus man feels he is for all intents and purposes a Liverpool player and, after a very difficult year, does not want to let go. “I&#8217ve said it many times, we will deal with the club – Chiesa told ‘Sky Sport‘ -I, however, am happy here at Liverpool, I am at one of the strongest clubs in the world, with great ambitions in Europe” too.

The 27-year-old then took the opportunity to return to talk about the past, removing a pebble from his shoe: “Last year I arrived here in complicated conditions, without having trained with Juventus. I don&#8217t know why that decision had been made, it certainly penalized my path here throughout the first year”.

“I have to thank the Liverpool medical staff who allowed me to get fit again, the goal against Bournemouth, which by the way I want to dedicate with all my heart to Diogo Jota, repays me for all the work I have done. I also thank the coach, who never sidelined me and always spoke clearly with me. From my side it is not important whether I play 10, 20 or 90 minutes, the’important thing is to make myself ready”.
