Today, at 9:15 p.m., is scheduled Milan–Bari, a match valid for the first round of the Coppa Italia. In fact, the first official outing of the new Diavolo of Allegri (disqualified, will not be on the bench).

The Rossoneri crowd has decided to respond in a big way. About 70,000 people are expected at the San Siro for the Milan-Bari match. A huge number when you consider that it is being played two days after Ferragosto. Confirmation that there’s a lot of desire to see the revamped Milan and the many new signings at work, particularly Modric and Jashari).

Although the Curva Sud has let it be known that it will not “support” the team (complicit with the club”s new imposed directives on organized cheering), the atmosphere is sure to be very hot, both in terms of temperature and the crowd. Other interesting news: at the end of the warm-up, before the whistle blows, all the new faces of the Diavolo will be officially introduced. Fans will embrace Modric, Jashari, Ricci, Estupiñan, De Winter, Athekame and Terracciano

At the end of the (disastrous) last season, Milan had chewed bitterly at the’idea of starting the following year as early as Aug. 17. Actually, the challenge with Bari is about to turn into a big party with its own public. Of course, Bari permitting. Everyone at the San Siro to see the new Milan at work.
