Coppa Italia 2025-2026: Spezia-Sampdoria, the likely lineups

The Stadio Alberto Picco hosts, Monday at 6:30 p.m., the 32nd all-Ligurian final of the Coppa Italia, with Spezia hosting Sampdoria in a challenge that will also be replicated in the upcoming Serie B championship. For both teams, this will be the first official match of the 2025-2026 season, after nearly a month of training and friendlies.
Despite last season’s bitter ending, with promotion to Serie A eluding them at the very last act, the double playoff final against Cremonese, Spezia has decided to bet again on Luca D’Angelo and last year’s backbone at the squad level. Among the new arrivals there’s curiosity about Gabriele Artistico, a striker seen last year with the jerseys of Juve Stabia and Cosenza.
Samp begins the new year with the goal of avoiding the anxieties of a season, last season, that ended with salvation after a rocambolic finale. The new blucerchiato coach is Massimo Donati, who returns to Samp after his experience as a player in the 2003-2004 season. There are many new players on the field, among them striker Marvin Cuni, who arrived in early August from Rubin Kazan.
Probable lineups
