Ducati, Jorge Lorenzo goes down hard on Pecco Bagnaia

L’former Ducati centaur Jorge Lorenzo to the microphones of DAZN has expressed sharp words to tell the crisis that is going through Pecco Bagnaia, in perhaps the lowest moment of his experience with the Borgo Panigale team. The Piedmontese rider is back from a nightmare weekend in Austria, where in the last three years he had always won.

“Almost all riders have experienced very difficult situations in their careers – Lorenzo explained -When you go through moments like these repeatedly, you start to believe less in yourself. And when you have less belief in yourself, you make less, you run slower”.

“I think Pecco is going through this moment. But I know he is a strong rider psychologically, he will not give up. He will keep pushing, even if something always happens that prevents him from making the leap. Maybe with a different bike next year things will be different”.

Marc Marquez is the leader of the overall MotoGP standings with 381 points, ahead of his brother Alex, second at 261 with the Gresini team bike. Third place for Bagnaia at 213 points.
