Torino, market duel with Cagliari for a Roma full-back

Torino’s management is working to shore up the squad with a midfielder and a left-back, as stated by President Urbano Cairo after the win with Modena in the Coppa Italia: “We are a team that must have a play in front of the defense. We already have many outfielders, so it is much better to think now about a man in the middle of the field. Then we lacked a left-back and obviously we need”.
.
While as far as midfield is concerned the number one target remains Hans Nicolussi Caviglia, for the role of left-back the Granata club has set its eyes on Anass Salah-Eddine, a Dutch side owned by Roma that does not fit into the plans of coach Gian Piero Gasperini.
The Toro, however, must reckon with competition from Cagliari: according to Sky Sport reports, in fact, the Rossoblù club is also interested in the 2002-born player, on whom the newly promoted Liga club Elche had also come forward in recent days.
Salah-Eddine arrived at Roma last February for 10 million from Ajax’Ajax: in the Giallorossi he has collected 3 appearances in Serie A, tallying one assist.
