Fiorentina goleada and qualification mortgaged, Kean sent off

Decent victory for Fiorentina in the first leg match of the Conference League playoffs: the purple team beat Polissya Zhytomyr Ukrainians 3-0 at the Tatran Aréna in Presov, Slovakia, mortgaging qualification.
Pioli’s team took a two-goal lead in the first half-hour: at 8′ they unlocked the result thanks to Kudryk’s own goal, who unintentionally with his body pushed the ball back into the net after Kean hit the post. On 32′ came the doubling by Gosens on an assist from Gudmundsson, at the end of a great play by Kean.
Moise Kean cross and delight: before halftime the former Juventus striker was sent off for a reaction foul on Sarapii, who had earlier pulled his hair. The lily bench protested but the VAR did not intervene, upholding the referee’s decision: the Blue will definitely miss the next match, but he risks multiple rounds of suspension.
In the resumption Fiorentina closed the score at 69′ with Gudmundsson, who served by Ndour signed the tris on the counterattack with a beautiful diagonal. The Ukrainians tried to retaliate but De Gea answered again and again, frustrating the hopes of the home team. Appointment in a week’s time at the Mapei Stadium to close the qualification talk, but much of the work has already been done for Pioli’s team.
