Bundesliga 2025-2026: Bayern Munich-Leipzig, the likely lineups

The 2025/26 Bundesliga opens immediately with a bang: on Friday evening, in the first day’advance, defending champion Bayern Munich receives Leipzig.
The Bavarians arrive at the appointment strong from their recent triumph in the German Super Cup and with high expectations related to the offensive axis formed by Harry Kane and new acquisition Luis Díaz.
For Leipzig, on the other hand, it’s time to restart after a disappointing season marked by absence from the European cups. In attack, it will be Loïs Openda’s turn to lead the resurgence.
The challenge promises spectacle, as evidenced by the last crosses: from the 3-3 draw last May, with the resounding late equalizer signed by Poulsen, to the clear 5-1 inflicted by Bayern on Dec. 20, 2024.
Probable lineups
Bayern Munich (4-2-3-1): Neuer; Laimer, Upamecano, Tah, Stanišić; Kimmich, Goretzka; Gnabry, Olise, Díaz; Kane.
Coach: Vincent Kompany.
Lipsia (4-2-3-1): Gulácsi; Baku, Orban, Lukeba, Raum; Seiwald, Schlager; Bakayoko, Simons, Nusa; Openda.
