Marco Bezzecchi after an unsatisfactory Friday: "Now we settle"

The first day of practice on the new Hungarian circuit proved complex for Aprilia Racing riders. Positive sensations in the adaptation path of Jorge Martín, who was consistent during Friday with the tenth position in FP1 and the eleventh time in practice, touching direct access to Q2 for just a thousandth.
Marco Bezzecchi, author of a good sixth time in the morning FP1, instead failed to confirm the same performance in the practice, closing with the twelfth time and missing direct access to Q2 for just 83 thousandths. The Italian driver will therefore have to face Q1 to gain a place in Q2.
“It was definitely not one of our best days, we struggled a bit on this track, especially under braking. The time-attack is perhaps still where we suffer the most: when we are not quite right with the pace and the medium tire, fitting the soft doesn’t make a big difference. Now we will try to work this evening to settle in for Saturday,” admitted the Romagna centaur.
