Juventus, David and Vlahovic take down Parma. Atalanta blocked by Pisa

Juventus makes its Serie A debut with a 2-0 victory over Parma.
David, scoring on his official debut for the Bianconeri, and Vlahovic stun the Gialloblu at Allianz Stadium and give Igor Tudor his first three points. Two assists from Kenan Yildiz, the best on the field.
In the evening’s other match, Juric’s Atalanta doesn’t go beyond a draw at home against freshman Pisa, making its return to A after 34 years: down due to Hien’s own goal, Dea in the second half found the 1-1 with Scamacca.

Intense but goalless first half at the Allianz Stadium, the Bianconeri play the game but have to deal with a well-positioned Parma: the biggest chance comes on 13′ and it is a header by Conceiçao, repelled by Suzuki with a reflex save. In the second half after the first changes (Koopmeiners and Joao Mario in for Gatti and Locatelli), Juventus went ahead: on 60′ Yildiz fishes David in the middle of the area who beats Suzuki, scoring his first Serie A goal on debut. The Bianconeri looked for the safety goal and Yildiz forced Suzuki into a great save on 79′.

L’Atalanta immediately took over the reins of the game but on 26′ the Gewiss Stadium was frozen for the guest advantage: an unfortunate deflection by Hien allowed Pisa to take the lead. The Tuscans shortly afterwards came close to doubling the lead with Moreo and Carnesecchi was decisive. Juric’s team reacted in the second half and at 50′ equalized with Scamacca with a nice right-footed shot to the corner. The Dea sought the goal of the lead and hit a crossbar with Scamacca, the frightened Pisa retreats its center of gravity. At 70′ Semper is decisive on Maldini, then he is also careful on Zalewski. L’Atalanta does not pass and has to settle for a draw.
