Dream start to Serie A for Fabregas’ Como, which dominated and knocked out Sarri’s Lazio 2-0 thanks to a capital performance by Nico Paz: the Larians triumphed at Sinigaglia thanks to an assist and a goal on a free kick by the Argentine playmaker.

In the other late afternoon match, it ends in a draw at the’Unipol Domus between Cagliari and Fiorentina: Mandragora was answered by Luperto for the Sardinians in the final game.

Como took the lead and put Sarri’s team under pressure, with Provedel foiling the hosts’ lead several times. The Capitolini scored with Castellanos, but the goal was nullified for offside, then failed to make themselves dangerous with continuity and risked the collapse, with Provedel saved by the crossbar at 77′ on the conclusion of Vojvoda, triggered by the inspired Nico Paz. At 22′ Gosens saves everything on Folorunsho’s conclusion: it is the most important chance of the first half. Pioli makes two changes at the start of the second half, in Mandragora and Viti for Ndour and Ranieri, and scores: Mandragora himself at 68′ finds the 1-0 with a header on an assist from Gudmundsson. The Sardinians went on the assault of the Gigliati goal and at 94′ found the equalizer thanks to Luperto, who headed past De Gea on the development of a Gaetano free kick.
