Victor Boniface returns to Germany, Milan on the hunt for more strikers

Victor Boniface’s adventure at AC Milan may be over before it even begins. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Bayer Leverkusen-owned striker will in fact return to Germany on Sunday.
Four days of medical examinations were not enough for the Nigerian, who could only return on a free loan deal, but in the meantime the Rossoneri are evaluating other profiles.
It cannot be ruled out among other things that both Boniface and another high-profile striker will arrive by Monday, September 1. The season opener with Cremonese confirmed that Massimiliano Allegri needs reinforcements up front, beyond Leao, who could be used as a first forward if needed.
The position of Gimenez is also to be evaluated.
Gimenez who, goal disallowed aside, disappointed Saturday night at San Siro but has market and is liked in particular by Roma, which is in turn looking for reinforcements.
