Tommy Fleetwood has finally broken the spell that has heavily affected his career since he landed on the PGA Tour.

Second-place finisher six times (including the 2018 U.S. Open and The Open 2019), 44 tournaments finished in the Top 10 including 29 in the Top 5, he hit the big target in the Tour Championship, the FedEx Cup final, succeeding Scottie Scheffler on the prestigious event&#8217s roll of honor.

“I continued to learn my way to victory. It wasn&#8217t really a good card to have never won. But I am proud that I was able to maintain a great attitude. When you lose so many times even with some lead, three shot margin in the final is not that much. I am proud of my career, although I still have a lot to learn” said the 34-year-old.

“I hope this is just the first of many. I have made a huge effort to get this far” the hopeful conclusion of the Briton, proud for having lifted a boulder off his shoulders.
