Mbappé and Vinicius had to endure racist insults from the Carlos Tartiere stands during the La Liga match played and won by Real Madrid against Oviedo. As footage from the El día después program shows, at the time of the 1-0 goal scored by the French former Paris Saint Germain man and during the Brazilian’s substitution, they heard monkey noises from the stands.

The choruses aired during the program, which do not seem to come from the majority of the audience but rather from a single voice in both cases, initially occur when Kylian Mbappé celebrates the goal by sliding on his knees on the grass. An isolated “Uh, uh, uh” but still regrettable.

The second incident caught by Movistar cameras happened during the entrance of Vinicius, who took over from Rodrygo in the second half. As often happens to him the Brazilian striker also received other insults during the course of the match, this time yes chorally from a substantial part of the audience, with whom he eventually came to verbal confrontation.
