Jamie Vardy has said yes to Cremonese. The dream of the grigiorossi fans is about to turn into reality: the English striker, cover man of the legendary Premier League title won by Leicester in 2016, is ready to close his career in Italy and has reportedly said yes to the Lombard club.

According to Sky reports, Vardy and the club&#8217s emissaries have reached an understanding, and the contract is reportedly in the details. The’former England forward has given his full willingness and indeed has reportedly expressed enthusiasm for the’adventure in Italy, despite several offers coming in from abroad.

Vardy is expected to join the club.

Vardy has been free since June after his farewell to Leicester City, where he scored 200 goals in 500 games. With England he played 26 matches.

“For us it is a great gratification to see the opening of a champion like him. It would be extraordinary for us, because I believe he can still give a lot at the international level” said sporting director Giacchetta in an interview with Sportitalia.
