Sampdoria still in the abyss in Serie B, on a Sunday in which the Blucerchiati are the only team to lose among all those engaged on the various fields hosting matches in the cadet championship. The Genovese fell 3-1 in Bolzano, beaten by a Südtirol team that in these ways joins the large group of leaders with 4 points (they are a full 8). Closing the standings with 0 is instead the Doriana team.

At the Druso stadium, the game was headed from the very first minutes: Casiraghi put Südtirol ahead as early as’8′ then Merkaj doubled on 19′ and on 31′ El Kaouakibi dropped the tris. In the second half, coach Massimo Donati throws Massimo Coda into the fray, who on 90′ makes the gap less severe by scoring the goal that makes him the most prolific striker in Serie B history. But that is the’only good news for Sampdoria.

With Südtirol, however, there are three other teams taking advantage of Sunday to join the maxi caravan of Serie B leaders. They are Carrarese, Monza and Modena: all three were coming off as many wins in their debuts, this time they are coming off three draws against Padova, Bari and Avellino, respectively.

They are all in the same league.

At the Stadio dei Marmi it ends 0-0, with Carrarese also able to eat its hands: in fact, Padova plays over half an hour in a numerical inferiority for Fusi’s expulsion. On the other two pitches, however, it ends 1-1: both in Bari (Monza lead with Dany Mota already at 2′, Moncini draws at 16′), and Modena (Sounas scores for Avellino at 54′, Defrel answers him at 63′).
