Today Torino is called to a delicate challenge against Fiorentina, a match worth heavy points in the European key. But the granata are not only focused on the field: in fact, the club is also busy on the market, looking for targeted reinforcements to complete Baroni’s squad.

Good news is coming from France: according to Footmercato journalists, Torino would have found an agreement for Niels Nkounkou, full-back of Eintracht Frankfurt. The player is expected to arrive on an onerous loan for €1.5 million, with an option to buy set at €6 million. Now the Granata management is trying to convince Nkounkou to marry the Torino project, and definitive updates could come in the next few hours.

The challenge against Fiorentina is never trivial. The violets represent a direct competitor for the Europa zone, and a positive result could give great momentum to the granata’s ambitions. Tactically, Torino will have to confirm the defensive solidity that has characterized the Jurić management, but improving concreteness in attack, where the team often struggles to finalize the chances created.

The market, however, remains a priority. Nkounkou’s arrival would be an important reinforcement for the left flank, but it does not rule out further movements for midfield and attack, where quality and depth are needed. The balance between the field and the market will be crucial: on the one hand, we need to get valuable points today; on the other hand, complete the roster to better face the second half of the season.

Torino, in short, plays on two fields. And the ability to best handle this double challenge could decide the fate of the Granata season, turning a promising year into something truly exciting.
