Nicolò Zaniolo tries again: signing with Udinese, national team target. The figures

Nicolò Zaniolo is a Udinese player. The Galatasaray midfielder, last year on loan to Fiorentina, returns immediately to Italy and will play in Friuli next season on an interest-bearing loan with a buy-back obligation. The overall transaction should be around 9 million euros after the outright purchase.
Zaniolo aims to revive himself and regain a place on the national team ahead of the North American World Cup, and to redeem himself after difficult years. Raised in the youth ranks of Fiorentina, Zaniolo made his professional debut in 2017 with Virtus Entella. After his experience with Primavera dell’Inter, he was bought by Roma where he made a name for himself at the national level but where he also suffered two serious injuries that abruptly halted his career.
The player has been a member of the Roma youth team for many years.
In 2023 Zaniolo tried to revive himself at Galatasaray, where he played a few games before loans to Aston Villa, Atalanta and Fiorentina. Last season in the Gigliati, Zaniolo played a total of 13 games without scoring goals. He counts 19 appearances in the senior national team, but he has not played with the Azzurri jersey for more than a year and a half now.
