Torino stoppages three disposals and nets the'latest blow

On the last day of the market, Torino fills the gap on the left flank with the arrival of Niels Nkounkou from Eintracht Frankfurt. The French player arrives on an onerous loan for half a million euros, with redemption set at about 5 million euros: the obligation of the purchase is linked to the number of appearances. He will play the place with Biraghi.
“Torino Football Club is pleased to announce that it has acquired from Eintracht Frankfurt – on a temporary basis, with an option and obligation to purchase upon the occurrence of certain conditions – the right to the sports performance of the player Niels Patrick Nkounkou”.
“Nkounkou was born in Pontoise, France, on November 1, 2000. He grew up footballingly in Marseille’s youth sector, and made his debut with the B team on December 20, 2017 against Tarbes Pyrénées. In 2020 he was bought outright from Everton, where he accrued 7 appearances with one assist, and then went on loan in the 2021-22 season to Standard Liege, collecting 25 appearances. In 2022-23 he moved to Cardiff: 18 appearances and one assist. In January 2023 the return to France, to Saint-Etienne: 21 appearances, 6 goals and 8 assists in Ligue 2. Then from the 2023-24 season the permanent transfer to Eintracht Frankfurt: in Germany he made a total of 63 appearances, with 3 goals and 3 assists, also gaining experience in European cups with 8 games in the Europa League and 8 in the Conference League. For him, he also made 6 appearances with France’s Under-21 national team and one with the Transalpine Olympic Selection in Tokyo in 2021″.
On the exit front, Torino closed the door after the disposals of Aaron Ciammaglichella on loan to Juve Stabia, and Sazonov to Getafe. Barring any final twists and turns, Ivan Ilic and Adrien Tameze, long given up for departure, will remain under the Mole. Stop also for Ché Adams, despite the interest of several English clubs: Marco Baroni is banking on him despite competition from Simeone and Zapata.
