Jannik Sinner wipes out Alexander Bublik: total domination

A rousing show of strength. Jannik Sinner takes the pass to the quarterfinals in authoritative fashion, rushing away Alexander Bublik. The’Italian won over the Kazakh in three sets (6-1, 6-1, 6-1 the match’s partials), in one’hour and twenty-one minutes of total domination. Vendered the defeat he suffered in Halle, last June.
Jannik Sinner appeared in top form, both physically and mentally, from the first exchanges of the match. Alexander Bublik was never able to get into the match. He conceded to the Italian who, to the sound of winning blows, knocked him out in record time.
Understanding the impossibility of winning the match, the Kazakh nevertheless tried his best, cheering every time he made a spectacular blow, as if to highlight that he was not poor himself but too strong his opponent.
Thanks to this other fine success, Jannik Sinner advances to the quarterfinals of the U.S. Open where he will face Lorenzo Musetti. A dream Italian derby that is worth a place in the semifinals. The two blues know each other well, they esteem each other but, on the court, it will be a real battle. Obviously, Jannik Sinner is aiming straight for the final but, against Lorenzo Musetti it will certainly not be a walk in the park. The world No. 1 seen against Alexander Bublik seems, to be honest, unplayable for everyone (only Carlos Alcaraz holds these levels) but watch out for Lorenzo Musetti who is having a US Open to applaud and, although a friend of Jannik Sinner, dreams of beating him and raising his bar even higher.
