Franco Morbidelli will be a rider of the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team also in the 2026 MotoGp season: this was announced by the very partnership founded by Valentino Rossi, who thus rewarded the results obtained by the Italian-Brazilian in his first season, which so far has seen him collect two podiums in races and two others at the Sprint Race level.

The team manager Alessio ‘Uccio’ Salucci expressed great happiness for the new agreement: “We are happy to confirm Franco also for next season – he said -. He has integrated immediately with the team, with which he has established an excellent human and professional relationship that has led to important results. Franco has been part of the VR46 Riders Academy since the beginning and to see him wearing the colors of the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team has a special meaning for us, it is like closing a circle”.

“This year, with two podiums in the Sunday races and two more in the Sprints, we have shown what we are capable of; in this season finale and in the next we aim to improve even more. His experience has been an added value and, together with that of the team and the support of Ducati, we are excited to continue this journey together in 2026”.

So Morbidelli: “My love for this team is very deep, I fit in very well and I have a stellar relationship with each of the components. It will be a pleasure to race with the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team again next year. It is great to announce something so good. I hope to experience many more good days like the ones we experienced this year, because we deserve them”.

“We have almost a year and a half ahead of us to continue to show the great potential we have together. I want to thank the whole team, with Vale, Uccio and Pablo in the lead, the partners, the VR46 Riders Academy and my people” concluded Morbidelli.
