World Cup Qualification 2026: Netherlands-Poland, the likely lineups

Holland–Poland, kickoff at 8:45 p.m. in Rotterdam, is a match valid for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers in North America. The hosts, clearly favored, have won their first two matches in Group G against Finland and Malta, and want to keep full points to mortgage first place in the group and qualification as early as September. The Warsaw selection is fresh from the defeat against Finland and cannot afford another misstep if they want to aim for the top spot in the group.
Koeman will have to do without Frimpong, who was injured with Liverpool. Up front are Gakpo, Weghorst and Depay, in midfield Koopmeiners along with Reijnders and Gravenberch. On the flanks Dumfries and Timber.
On the Poland bench debuts Jan Urban: in attack the offensive reference is Lewandowski, returning to the national team after Probierz’s exoneration. On the three-quarter are Frankowski, Kaminski, Szymanski, in the median Slisz and Zielinski.
