Despite continuous summer market rumors, at the close of negotiations Dusan Vlahovic remained at Juventus: the Serbian center forward, by the way, did not seem to be affected much by the continuous speculation about him, as evidenced by the goals scored both in the first day of the championship against Parma and in the next one, against Genoa (goal, by the way, decisive for the three points).

With his contract set to expire at the end of the season and the prospect of losing the player on a zero-parameter basis, however, Juventus would still be reasoning about a renewal in extremis. An’option, however, not to be taken for granted, so much so that there are already those who are moving to sign the footballer from’summer 2026, without shelling out a euro for the transfer.

In this sense, a surprising hypothesis has popped up in the last few hours: according to reports from ‘La Gazzetta dello Sport’, Inter’is reportedly probing the ground to verify the feasibility of the operation. The Nerazzurri club could move as early as now to obtain a pre-agreement in January, as regulations allow players who have not yet renewed to be able to agree with a new club from the six months prior to the expiration of their existing contract.

A veritable market derby between the Nerazzurri and the Milan could be on the horizon, then: although negotiations with the Rossoneri failed this’summer, the latter have not definitely given up and are ready to raise their bid from January, again to get the Serbian footballer for free, after next June 30.
