MotoGP, Catalan GP: Pedro Acosta soars in first free practice, sinks Bagnaia

The first free practice session of the Catalan Grand Prix opens in the sign of Pedro Acosta. The KTM centaur was the fastest on the Montmeló circuit, turning in 1’38″979, the only rider to go under the wall of 1’1’39.
Behind him was the Honda LCR of Johann Zarco, only 95 thousandths away, and the Ducati of Marc Marquez, 219 thousandths distant. Fourth place for the returning Maverick Viñales (KTM Tech3), followed by Alex Marquez (Gresini Racing).
Good sixth place for Luca Marini (Honda HRC), ahead of Brad Binder (KTM) and Marco Bezzecchi (Aprilia). Aleix Espargaró (Honda HRC) and Luca Bastianini (KTM Tech3) complete the top 10. Very distant Pecco Bagnaia, who even finished in second to last place.
