On one side one of the four newly promoted, on the other one of the three clubs that dropped from the top division at the end of last season: at the ‘Partenio-Lombardi’ the hosts of Avellino (at their first official home game) take on Monza, one of the eight leaders of a Serie B that already after two days no longer has any full-score team.

The Irpini began the championship with a defeat at home to Frosinone (2-0) and a draw, 1-1, on the field of Modena. Scoring in the match at the ‘Braglia’ was the Greek Dimitris Sounas, who should also find space on Friday night in the 4-3-1-2 of coach Raffaele Biancolino. In attack, Biasci and Lescano are looking for their first league goalscoring, Roberto Insigne favored for the three-quarter.

Monza, on the other hand, began the cadetteria year with a 1-0 success against Mantova, with a decisive goal by Armando Izzo, and a 1-1 draw at the San Nicola against Bari (Dany Mota Carvalho’s initial goal was answered by Moncini). Coach Paolo Bianco will bet precisely on the Portuguese as far as the offensive sector is concerned, with Ciurria and Caprari in support.
