Baby prodigy explains Jannik Sinner’s greatness with backstory

Daniil Valter, 15, had the privilege of meeting and playing with Jannik Sinner while filming a commercial in Monte Carlo. The young boy, a student of Gianluca Mager’s Sanremo Tennis Team, revealed a backstory that gives even more insight into how obsessed Sinner is with perfection.

“Jannik is always focused in his movements, even when he is shooting a simple promotional spot. Of the New York final I saw a set and a half, then just highlights. But of him, even in a session like Monte Carlo, I appreciate the mentality during matches: he is always calm and fully focused on his game”.

Daniil will never forget the experience: “I am happy that I did not miss a single shot. After starting from a central position, we picked up the pace and moved a little bit’. I enjoyed the’experience, it&#8217s not every day you get to play with one of the best in the world”.

The young champion&#8217s coach, Fabio Lavazza, added: “There were two drones filming him and at least twenty-five people on the playing field, so you can imagine the number of cameras there. One cameraman at one point got so close to him that he bumped into him, yet the person who apologized was Sinner” himself.
