Lazio also falls: Fadera gives Sassuolo first joy

After Roma’s home defeat to Torino (0-1), the other Roman side also went down in the third day of Serie A. At the Mapei Stadium, in fact, Sassuolo narrowly overcame Lazio (1-0) thanks to a goal by substitute Fadera twenty minutes from the end.
First squillo of nerovederde brand with a Pinamonti shot throttled easy prey to Provedel. On 25′ the referee draws a red card for Vranckx for a stomping against Rovella but after Var review changes his decision, converting the red to yellow. The Biancocelesti struggled to create and ended the first half without having taken a single shot on goal.
In the resumption came the first chance for Lazio at 62′ but Muric overcame a safe header from Zaccagni. Eight minutes later the hosts found the lead with newcomer Fadera deflecting a Muharemovic header in a winning manner. In the final, Gila, all alone in the box, gobbled up the equalizer by sending his header high.
Lazio thus cashed its second defeat in two matches, while for Sassuolo it was the first joy in the league: the neroverdi hooked the biancocelesti in 13th place in the standings with 3 points.
