Serie C, Group C 2025-2026: Cavese-Giugliano, the probable formations
The Simonetta Lamberti Stadium in Cava de’ Tirreni will be the scene of the postponement of the fourth day of the Group C of Serie C between Cavese and Giugliano. The blufoncé hosts will try, in one of the derbies of the metropolitan area of Naples proposed by the tournament, to climb back up the slope after a difficult start, while the yellowoblù are looking for confirmations after the measured success over Foggia.
Fabio Prosperi, coach of Cavese from this season after his year at Campobasso, must first unlock an attack that in three games has scored only one goal, that of Giuseppe Fella in the 2-1 defeat at Altamura. The 32-year-old will be on the three-quarter line along with Francesco Orlando, behind the’only central forward Angelo Giuda.
On the other side there’s Mirko Cudini leading the Tigers, after spells last season first at Pineto and then at Ascoli. So far Giugliano has always scored, even in matches in which it did not win: the absolute protagonist so far is Alessio Nepi, scoring once in the 2-3 against Potenza and with a double in the 2-2 against Picerno. The class of 2000 striker will be joined on the offensive line by Borello and Njambe.
