Ducati, Pecco Bagnaia in crisis clings to Casey Stoner

Pecco Bagnaia after another weekend to forget has regained some’ morale in Monday’s MotoGP test in Misano, where he also received support from Casey Stoner. The’former world champion, who has always defended Pecco in the past, was present in the Ducati box and tried to lend a hand to the Piedmontese rider, who since the’beginning of the year has not been comfortable on the GP25.

“I&#8217ve seen him working on my bike! If it were possible, I would always want him with me, but unfortunately you can–t,” said Bagnaia. “With Casey I have a good relationship and we get along very well. Also today it was important to have him there. He was on the track, he watched from the track, he watched all weekend how the bike was behaving”.

“In general he gave outside feedback along with Manuel Poggiali, which coincided a lot. One more opinion was also crucial for sure, although he is very analytical in his comments… sometimes too much” he told reporters in attendance.

Bagnaia was also a very good rider.

Bagnaia still denied any tension with Ducati: “The’atmosphere in the pits is always the same. We work together, and the guys are as concerned as I am. Everyone is trying to give me what I need, and even the team is not happy with the current situation, because they would like to see their riders in first and second place, while I have struggled in the last GP”.
