The long social message is definitely touching: “I don’t know if a post on Instagram in these cases can be right or not, I only know what I can feel right now and writing about you just makes me feel a little less bad, although in moments like these words would not be enough or even none would be needed. From our debut downhill together to our last downhill together. In moments like these I understand the value of every facet of life, how a single laugh, hug or cry can have tremendous meaning that we often take for granted in our everyday lives.

The value of each facet of life is so great.

You know that from now on I will always carry your vitality with me, and I will always be grateful for the little everyday things that each of us experiences. Every curve of mine will also be yours, we will ski together every race and every practice carrying on that dream we have always shared. Some people think it’s an unfair and cruel sport, I think it was what made us know each other and become friends and that to me is what matters most, the bonds and memories I have of the two of us.

The only way I can fill this void is by giving myself a life purpose in your name and anytime I know I will not be alone because you never left, you will always remain in the hearts of those who loved you and I know a part of you will live inside me forever. Already I miss you brother, look down on us from up there and keep smiling as you always did because if it is so hard without you, your memory spurs me on every day and reminds me of your “zero stress.” I will see you again sometime, in the meantime have one of our usual sleepovers. Your Cue”.
