Franco Bragagna on his YouTube channel spoke about Mattia Furlani’s triumph in the long jump at the World Track and Field Championships: “How many times did I happen to say that he is a prodigy of nature, an absolute marvel, and that I didn’t envy Mom because with someone like that you have to be careful, because you risk doing damage. But where? Kathy Seck did a feat”.

“He is gifted, but he has a sensational family behind him. This inordinate talent, out of the ordinary and so measured, good and borderline emotional”, added the’former RAI commentator.

Franco Bragagna also ventured a comparison between Mattia Furlani and Jannik Sinner: “How much does he resemble, beyond physical appearance (he doesn&#8217t have carrot hair or anything else), even the family fact, even though the tennis player&#8217s parents don&#8217t coach him and the cadence is much more Romanesque, Jannik Sinner? This is not a captatio benevolentiae, the educational system matters and it matters a lot: bravo Furlanis, plural”.

“In Osaka, also in Japan, there was the 8.47 Italian record set by Andrew Howe. This time the fierce Irving Saladino of the last jump was not there”.
