Winning debut for Barcelona in the Champions League. At St. James Park, the Blaugrana, deprived of the injured Lamine Yamal, clung to Marcus Rashford, who with a brace demolished Newcastle (2-1), which halved the deficit with Gordon in the final.

Sporting Lisbon has an easy time against Kairat Almaty: at the ‘JosĂ© Alvalade’ it ends 4-1 for the Portuguese – who also miss a penalty kick with Hjulmand – in goal with Trincao (2), Alisson Santos and Quenda, while the flagship goal for the Kazakhs was signed by Edmilson Santos.

Eintracht Frankfurt also triumphed with Galatasaray: the Germans won 5-1 at ‘Deutsche Bank Park’ thanks to goals by Burkardt (2), Uzun, Knauff and Sanchez’s own goal, all scored after the Turks took an early lead with Akgun.

Also a bombastic success for Club Brugge, which overwhelmed Monaco 4-1 at the ‘Jan Breydel Stadion’: Tresoldi, Onyedika, Vanaken and Diakhon the goalscorers for the hosts, while Ansu Fati sealed the flagship goal for the Monegasques.

Finally, a 2-2 draw between Copenhagen and Bayer Leverkusen: at Parken Stadium hosts immediately ahead through Larsson but taken back by Grimaldo at”82. In the last minutes there&#8217s room for a new Danish lead through Robert and for the Germans&#8217 final equalizer with Hatzidiakos’s own goal.
