In comparison with last season, which culminated in the Scudetto final, Germania Brescia has changed very little. In fact, 90 percent of the roster has remained unchanged, as has the motivation of the club, which aims to repeat itself. The first goal? To do well at the Italian Super Cup Final Four, scheduled for Sept. 27 and 28 in Milan.

Leading the Leonessa, for the third consecutive year, will be Miro Bilan. The 36-year-old Croatian long man is ready for what will be his 20th season as a professional: “I have the same hunger as in the beginning. Before games, I am still nervous, however. I wonder what will happen on the field, what kind of plays I will be called upon to make;” his words to Teletutto.

Miro Bilan is already focused on the semifinal with Dolomiti Trento (the Italian Supercup final is up for grabs): “The Supercup? We dream of reaching the final and, personally, I would still like to meet Vìrtus Bologna“.

The 1989 class, a native of Šibenik, renewed his trust in the Brescia project last July, signing an extension until June 30, 2027: “I am happy and thrilled to have found an agreement to stay in Brescia two more seasons” the words of the long Croatian, happy to have remained in the club that has become “… really a home for me and my family”. Now, however, there&#8217s to do well on the court, starting with the first official commitment of the season with Trento.
