Manchester City-Napoli: one big doubt for Antonio Conte

Today, with kickoff whistle at 9 p.m., the eagerly awaited Manchester City-Napoli big match, valid for the first day of the regular season of the Champions League, is staged. The reigning Champions d’Italia aim to put in a crisis of Pep Guardiola’s newfound City.
Antonio Conte wants to prove that his Napoli is capable of great feats even outside domestic borders, while acknowledging the strength of the Citizens, a team blamed for champions including Erling Haaland, public danger number one, and the national team goalkeeper Gigio Donnarumma.
The Napoli coach has pretty clear ideas on who to put on the field from the first minute, although there’s still a doubt to be resolved. He is moving toward a 4-1-4-1 with Meret (now recovered) between the posts. Defense with captain Di Lorenzo, Beukema, Buongiorno and one between Spinazzola and Olivera (favored the former, at least for the moment).
In front of the defense will act the usual Lobotka while McTominay, the’former De Bruyne (ten years at City), Anguissa and Politano will be on the field behind the’only role forward, namely Hujlund. The Danish center forward was, once again, preferred to Lucca who will therefore start from the bench. In fact, Guardiola and Conte will play with the same form. Among the Manchester City ranks, watch out for Reijnders’former Rossoneri Reijnders and the newfound Foden (decisive in the derby win against Manchester United).
