Milan, Paolo Scaroni's announcement inflames fans

On Wednesday, the Milan City Council approved the resolution for the sale of the San Siro facility and surrounding areas. Now the city council will have to give the ‘green light’ by the end of September.
Paolo Scaroni commented on the latest developments with satisfaction: “I haven’t read the resolution yet but it’s certainly good news. It is a step forward on a path that I started many years ago, I don’t even remember when. We are not yet at the end but I am happy”.
The Milan president then inflamed fans with an announcement: “We have a goal and we will achieve it: to build in Milan the most beautiful stadium in Europe, because this city deserves it. We are committed to this very important work we have been working on for so long and we will invest a lot of money. It will be a stadium for everyone, a facility of which, as Milanese, we will all be proud” he told Sky Sport.
The Milan City Council resolution reads: “The sale price is 197,075,590 euros; 73 million will be paid to the Milan City Council at the same time as the contract is signed, the remainder will be paid in installments and guaranteed by special bank or insurance sureties”.
