The big match of the fifth day of Serie A is the Rome derby between Lazio and Roma, scheduled for Sunday, September 21 at 12:30 p.m. at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome. Both Gian Piero Gasperini and Maurizio Sarri spoke at a press conference on the eve of the extracittadina.

“The derby is seen all over the world, it is a special match, different, beyond everything – began the Roma coach -. There is an incredible rivalry, everything is much more beautiful and with much more tension. Only derbies remain that are won. Fourth day? It immediately raises the’attention to play the derby so early”.

“The derby is always the derby and the emotions remain the same – the words of the biancoceleste coach -. The match is special and extremely heartfelt, one of the most heartfelt matches in the whole world. As soon as you enter the field you realize it&#8217s another story. I only missed one, but I only remember that, that emotional discomfort and endless sadness. Almost a shame to go back to the sports center. I talked to the players about that. Derbies are played to win”.

“Against Roma we have to be stronger in character – Sarri added. The probability that the rhythms will fall is high. But the temperature is heavy for us as it is for them. But tomorrow’s schedule is not a defeat of Lazio or Roma, but of soccer and institutions. An’admission of difficulty in maintaining law and order. If there is a game worth dying for in the heat, it is the derby”.

“In these games you have to be deadly in the episodes, with focus, heart and pathos. But everyone has those: you have to be very good and precise in the episodes. The same applies to the finals. I want to see a team, tomorrow, that is superior to Torino” Gasperini commented instead.
