Marlen Reusser world time trial champion

At her eighth participation, with two silvers and a bronze medal to her credit between 2020 and 2022, Switzerland’s Marlen Reusser, who turned 34 yesterday, became the Elite World Time Trial Champion.
On the tough roads of Kigali, the capital of Rwanda, with even a cobblestone wall, the Swiss rider dominated over the 31.2-kilometer race, beating the two Dutchwomen Anna van der Breggen and Demi Vollering by 52 seconds and 1 minute 5.
Delusion of the day was U.S. Chloé Dygert, a two-time rainbow winner in the specialty, who finished no higher than ninth. Eleventh at 3’02” and 26th at 5’27” were the two Italian women in the race, Monica Trinca Colonel and Soraya Paladin.
