Torino coach Marco Baroni spoke after the defeat against Atalanta’Atalanta. The Granata coach defended Duvan Zapata after the missed penalty: “A player like him should be supported, at any cost. He took the ball and it was right for him to kick it. He needs minutes and work, there are team choices and this was a team choice”.

The climate of contention should not affect the team: “It&#8217s the team that has to take the first step, we have to bring a different’energy and soccer that transmits something”.

The collapse in the first half: “I have to find solutions, it is not possible to have a blackout like that. It can be okay to concede a goal… With Fiorentina we made 21 fouls: it is a symptom of contact, of aggressiveness, it is what we have to put in the performance. I am not worried, but focused and careful. I delayed a few minutes because I immediately did the first analysis with the staff, there’s work to be done and I knew it”.
