Torino, Juric impressed: "Situation worse than I remembered"
Atalanta coach Ivan Juric after the 3-0 away win against Torino addressed the Granata fans’s protests against the ownership: “The situation seems worse than I remember, I had had a good time with a good environment in this stadium”, he said in a press conference.
“We know the situation, the discontent is continuous on one side and the other, it’s a great sorrow and it brings malaise. Today was not good, for anyone who is from Torino” said Juric, who coached the granata from 2021 to 2024.
Torino fans harshly protested Urbano Cairo even before the match, with a procession moving from the Filadelfia to the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino. Thousands of flags with the words “Cairo go away” whistles and banners with harsh slogans choreographed the demonstration.
