He won&#8217t win the Ballon d’Or, but Gianluigi Donnarumma has been honored as the world&#8217s best goalkeeper. The former Psg goalkeeper, after becoming champion of Europe and not only with the transalpine team, received the award from Gianluigi Buffon.

“Thank you all. I am honored to receive this award. I am delighted with my performance last season. I achieved incredible results also thanks to the whole team, all my former teammates. And also thanks to them that I am here tonight. We had a really terrific season”.

The lack of dedication to Luis Enrique, who decided to change goalkeepers despite a year of triumphs with Gigio among the main protagonists, did not go unnoticed.

“Now, however, I am focused on my new adventure: I thank Man City for this opportunity. We have many goals and I hope to be able to win trophies in England” too, concluded Donnarumma.
