On the one hand one of the most positive realities of this start of the season in the Premier League, on the other a mid-table formation in League Two: on paper Fulham&#8217s Carabao Cup engagement against Cambridge United looks very easy, but dry matches, especially in the United Kingdom, have historically reserved surprises and nothing can be taken for granted.

The Cottagers, fresh off two league wins in a row against Brentford and Leeds, will take the field with several players with less minute playing time than the starters. Among the eleven on the field from 1′ there should still be important players such as left flanker Ryan Sessegnon or Mexican center forward Raul Jimenez.

On the other hand, Cambridge United comes from an up-and-down period, although in the last game they found the three points thanks to the 2-1 win against Fleetwood: in goal, in the match played on Saturday, also Adam Mayor, who should be part of the starting three-quarter in the cup along with Brophy and Kaikai, behind the central reference of the offensive sector, Kouassi.

Probable lineups

FULHAM (4-2-3-1): Lecomte; Tete, Diop, Cuenca, Sessegnon; Reed, Cairney; Traore, Wilson, Smith-Rowe; Jimenez. All. Marco Silva.

CAMBRIDGE UNITED (4-2-3-1): Eastwood; Gibbons, Morrison, Watts, Purrington; Mpanzu, McLoughlin; Brophy, Kaikai, Mayor; Kouassi. All. Harris.
