Europa League 2025-2026: Ferencvaros-Viktoria Plzen, the likely lineups

The Groupama Arena in Budapest will be the setting for Ferencvaros and Viktoria Plzen’s Europa League single group stage debut. Kickoff will be at 9 p.m. Both teams were relegated from the Champions League after missing out on access to the main stage: the Hungarians were eliminated in the playoffs by Qarabag, while the Czechs stopped in the third round, overtaken by Rangers.
Technician Keane is relying on a 3-5-2: in attack there will be the pair formed by Varga and Dele, supported by the full-back Kadu and Nagy. In the center of the defense there will be space for Raemaekers, flanked by Gartenmann and Szalai.
On the opposite front, Koubek will adopt a 3-4-1-2: Vydra and Durosinmi will act up front, with Spacil and Memic manning the side lanes. Behind them, the rearguard will be led by Dweh, flanked by Jemelka and Paluska.
